About the Role
Mayo Clinic is seeking a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to bridge clinical pharmacy and health IT. This hybrid role involves optimizing Epic medication modules, building clinical decision support, and improving pharmacy workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Epic Willow pharmacy information system
- Build and maintain clinical decision support alerts and order sets
- Analyze medication safety data and implement system improvements
- Train pharmacy staff on new technology and workflow changes
- Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades and integrations
Requirements
- PharmD from an accredited program
- Active pharmacist license
- 2-4 years of pharmacy informatics or clinical pharmacy experience
- Epic Willow certification or experience strongly preferred
